Preliminary information
Before going into the merits of this guide and find out how to search for people on Facebook by age, it is good that you provide some preliminary information that will be useful for you to complete the procedure (or at least try it).
As I mentioned in the introduction of the article, on Facebook it is no longer possible to carry out searches by filtering the results based on the age of users or their interests. Until a few years ago - precisely until 2014 - it was possible to carry out this type of research thanks to Facebook Graph Search, a semantic search engine, available only in English, which was introduced on an experimental basis in March 2013.
The city version of Facebook has never integrated this advanced search function, which in any case could be activated simply by changing the language of the famous social network. Since the project was abandoned and abandoned, in any case, it is no longer possible to do this, neither on the cittàn version of Facebook nor on the English one.
All you can do to try to search for users who are of a specific age, in light of what has just been said, is to subscribe to certain groups and search for them directly there or, as a last resort, try to use third-party services (although they do not work. always effectively).
I guess you will now be somewhat disappointed with the discovery you just made regarding Facebook's decision to remove the advanced search feature from its platform, but there is no point in mulling it over. Instead, try to follow the instructions you find in the next paragraphs and see if you can achieve your goal: cross my fingers for you!
Join specific Facebook groups
One solution you can try to find people on Facebook based on their age is join some specific groups. On the social network founded by Mark Zuckerberg, in fact, groups dedicated to those born in a specific decade swarm and you could use the latter to find your peers or, in any case, users who were born in a more or less defined period. Obviously you have to take into account that this is a not really effective measure: it is not certain that only users born in the indicated years are registered in these groups and, in any case, it is difficult to be able to trace the exact age of each of these. Having said that, let's see better how to proceed.
Smartphones and tablets
To join a Facebook group from smartphone or tablet, log in to your account from the official app of the social network (which is available for Android and iOS), type the name of the group of your interest in the search bar situated in the high (art. "born in the 70s","born in the 80s“, Etc.) and select the correct suggestion among those proposed. If necessary, filter the search results by selecting the tab Groups.
After going to the group of your interest, tap the button Join the group placed under the cover image of the latter. To confirm that the request has been sent successfully, you should see the button appear Cancel subscription request (by pressing it you will withdraw the registration request sent just now).
The group administrators, at this point, will receive a notification regarding the registration request you have made and will be able to decide whether to accept it or not. If your request is actually accepted, you too will receive a notification regarding your group membership.
To view the list of users enrolled in the group and, therefore, try to search for those who have a specific age, tap on group name, presses on name of one of the members (in the section Members) and, once you have gone to the profile of the latter, try to see if between the information there is also the public date of birth (the information is not always available, as the user may have hidden this data).
Alternatively, if the rules of the group you are subscribed to allow it, you can publish a post in which you say the year you were born and ask subscribers to do the same thing: to succeed, just tap on the item Write something…, write the text of the post and publish it by clicking on the item Public. To join a Facebook group from computer, log in to your account from the main page of the social network (or from its application for Windows 10), write the name of the group you want to join in the search bar of Facebook at the top left (eg "born in the 70s","born in the 80s“, Etc.) and select it from the suggested suggestions (if necessary filter the search results by clicking on the tab Groups).
After going to the main page of the group, click on the button (+) Join the group which is immediately below its cover image and wait for your request to be accepted by the administrators. If your request is actually approved and you join the group, click on the tab Members located on the left, select the name of one of the members to go to his profile and check if his information public figures date of birth, in order to determine his age (please note that the user may have hidden this information).
Alternatively, if the rules of the group you are subscribed to allow it, publish a post in which you say the year you were born and ask subscribers to do the same thing, in order to get to know you better: to succeed, you just click on the item Write something…, type the text of the post and publish it by clicking on the button Public. Alternative solutions to search on Facebook by age
As I mentioned in the previous lines, you can try to search for users on Facebook by age using third party services parts useful for the purpose, such as the very famous Pipl, which allows you to search for people's profiles on various social networks and integrates, among other things, a function that allows you to filter the results based on the age of the profiles found. I would like to tell you, however, that from the tests I conducted this function does not work very well, so do not place much faith in it.
To use Pipl, connected to its main page, write the name of the user of your interest in the text field Name, Email, Username or Phone users and click on the icon magnifying glass to start the search. Then filter the results by selecting one of the age groups located in the appropriate section located at the bottom left (eg. 30-40 years old, 50-60 years old, etc.) and verify that the search has produced the desired results.
