PNG to PDF (Online)
PNG to PDF, as you can easily guess from the name itself, it is an excellent Web service thanks to which you can convert files in PNG format into PDF documents. It is simplistic to use and allows you to upload up to a maximum of 20 images at a time.
You ask me how to use it? Nothing simpler! To begin with, connect to the home page of the service using the link I provided you a moment ago, then drag the images in PNG format that you want to convert directly into the browser window and wait a few moments for the upload procedure to start and complete. If you don't prefer drag and drop, you can also upload the files to be edited by clicking on the button Upload the files and then selecting the images from the computer.
You can then download the individual converted files by clicking on the button Download next to each preview or you can download all the PNG files merged into a single PDF document by pressing the button Merge present in basso.
PDF Candy (Online)
Another online service to transform PNG images to PDF that I recommend you try is PDF Candy. It is a zero-cost resource, has a beautiful user interface completely in cittàn and does not impose particularly stringent limits regarding the maximum weight of the files and the number of documents that can be sent every day. If at least two files are loaded at a time, it automatically merges them into a single document and the processing also takes place quite quickly.
To use it, go to its main page using the link I just provided and drag the files you want to convert into the browser window. If you prefer, you can also manually select the documents to act on by pressing on + Add files or drag and drop (*. Png) or, you can still upload it directly from your account Google Drive o dropbox simply by clicking on the relative icons and logging in to the chosen service.
Once the upload is complete, sort the previews of the files according to your needs by clicking on them and, continuing to hold down, dragging them to the position you prefer. Then complete the procedure by pressing the button Convert N files (instead of N you will find the number of PNG files that the service is about to merge) and wait for the transformation to start and complete.
To download the PDF obtained from the PNG images, then click on the button Download PDF files or select the icons of supported cloud storage services to save everything to the cloud.
Zamzar (online)
Another great service that can allow you to transform PNG to PDF is without a doubt Zamzar. It is a simple converter accessible via the Web as famous as it is reliable thanks to which it is possible to act on different types of files, including those in question, of course. The maximum overall weight allowed for uploading files is 100 MB at a time.
To convert PNG to PDF with Zamzar, the first thing you need to do is to go to the home of the service via the appropriate link I just provided, then click on the button Choose files ... and select the images in PNG format on your computer that you want to transform.
Now, set the option pdf from the drop-down menu located under the item Step 2, type your e-mail address in the field next to the item Step 3 (it is essential, otherwise you will not be able to download the final PDF files as the link to download the file will be provided to you by mail) and then click on the button Convert to start the file transformation process.
Then wait for the conversion procedure to start and when the operation is completed you will receive an e-mail message with the link to download your PNG files transformed into PDF. Then click on the link in the e-mail message and then click on the button as well Download now located next to the name of the file to download on the web page that you will later see open in the browser.
i2pdf (Windows)
Instead of using special web services, do you prefer to convert your PNG files into PDF documents using a "traditional" software to download and install on your computer? Then turn to i2pdf and you will see that you will not regret it. It is a small but powerful application at no cost that allows you to create PDF files starting from images in JPG, BMP, TIFF, GIF and, of course, also PNG. It can be used on any version of Windows and requires no installation to work.
To download the program on your computer, connected to its official website via the link I just provided, scroll down the page and press the link Download i2pdf 32 bit (if what you are using is a 32-bit operating system) or on the wording Download i2pdf 64 bit (if what you are using is a 64-bit operating system). At the end of the download, open the archive in ZIP format with i2pdf inside, extract the contents in a position of your choice and start the executable i2pdf.exe
Now, drag the PNG format images you want to convert to PDF into the i2pdf window, click the button Build PDF and adjust the settings related to the output file using the menus and tabs found in the new window you see appear on the desktop (e.g. through the drop-down menu Page format you can select the page format by going to the tab Text you can activate the insertion of a custom text on each page of the final document and so on).
Finally, assign a name to the output document, select the folder in which to save it and confirm your willingness to save the PDF to get your final file. Easier than that?
Preview (Mac)
If you use a Mac, on the other hand, I have good, indeed excellent news to give you: to convert your PNG files to PDF you don't need any additional software. Everything you need to mend the business is already available “standard” on macOS. In fact, you just need to use Preview, the software for viewing images and documents pre-installed on all Apple-branded computers and that's it.
So, to start with, open the first PNG image you want to transform into PDF by double clicking on its icon and then click on the menu Fillet present at the top left, select the option Export as PDF ... and indicates the location where you want to save the final document. Done!
Need to merge multiple PNG files into one PDF document? So do this: after opening the first PNG image you want to act on, click on the menu Vista present at the top left and enable the option Miniature.
At this point, in the left part of the Preview window and therefore of the open image you will see a bar appear. Drag all the images to transform on them, then arrange the previews in the order you prefer and select them all using the key combination cmd + a on the Mac keyboard.
To conclude, clicca sulla voce Fillet attached to the menu bar, select the item Print, and then click Save as PDF from the drop-down menu located at the bottom left. Then choose the folder in which to save the final unified document.
App for smartphones and tablets (Android / iOS)
As anticipated at the beginning, converting PNG files to PDF is a very possible operation even from smartphones and tablets. To do this, you just need to use some special apps. Even in this case, these are very simple resources to use and usable at no cost (at least in their basic version). Below you will find those that in my opinion represent the best in the category.
- Office Lens (for Android and for iOS) - It is an application from Microsoft thanks to which you can transform photos and images in various formats, including PNG, then transforming them into PDF.
- Scanbot (for Android and for iOS) - It is one of the most popular and popular applications for transforming various images and documents into PDF files. It also integrates a simple editor through which you can make quick changes to the chosen images.
