How to see router IP address

Find router IP address from Windows

Now let's see how to find the router IP address by acting from a Mac. Even then, first make sure your computer is connected to the router: via Ethernet cable, verify that this is entered in one of the numbered doors of the device and in the LAN port of the Mac; if you prefer technology wirelessinstead, verify that thewifi icon (Quella with him cleats) is present in the upper right part of the menu bar and that the connection name used, which is shown to you by clicking on it, is the correct one.

Find router IP address from iPhone and iPad
Now let's see how to find the IP address of the router from iPhone e iPad. First, make sure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the device's Wi-Fi network. To do this, call the Control Center of iOS / iPadOS, by swiping from the top right corner of the screen downwards (on iPhone X or later and on iPad with iOS 12) or from the bottom edge of the display upwards (on all other models of iPhone and iPads with iOS 11 or earlier), then check that thewifi icon (Quella with him cleats) is colored with blu and make a long tap on it, to see the network name, making sure that it matches that of the network generated by the router.

- Searching the Internet - considering that the IP address of the routers is assigned by the manufacturers and cannot be changed, doing some research on Google, typing in brand and model, you should be able to find the information you need on specialized forums and Internet sites.

How to find router public IP address
Now it seems only right to explain how to find the IP address public of the router. First, however, it is necessary to distinguish the latter from the router IP private, that is what I explained to you how to find in the initial part of the tutorial. The first, as I also told you at the beginning of the guide, allows you to find the device within the local network, while the second is a unique code that each Internet provider assigns to users belonging to its network and allows them to be identified online.
You can easily find out what is the public IP address that has been assigned to your router and, therefore, to your user (since, according to what has been stated above, the data coincide) using an online service, such as What Is My IP Address, which shows the data in question immediately, after opening the relevant web page.
