Once the download is complete, open the .exe file obtained and, in the window you see appear on the desktop, press the buttons Yes, Accept e Install. Next, click on the button NEXT e poi quello end, but will conclude the setup.
At this point, all you have to do is start PowerISO, calling it through the collegamento which was added on desktop or through the Start menu and, once the software window is displayed on the screen, click on the button Continue testing, to use the free trial version.

To download it to your computer, go to the program's website, click on the button free Download and, subsequently, su Download for Windows.
Once the download is complete, open the .exe file obtained and click the button Yes in the window that opens on the desktop. Then click on the button NEXT, check the box I accept the terms of the license agreement and click to lock your button NEXT three times in a row, then on that Install and, finally, on the button end.
Now that you see the software window on your screen, make sure the tab is selected Convert / extract ISO files (otherwise you do it yourself), then click on the button Open image that you find next to the item Source image file and select the NRG format file you want to convert to ISO.
To conclude, click on your button Converted and wait for the procedure to be completed. The ISO file that will be returned to you will be saved in the same location as the source file.
How to convert NRG to ISO on Mac

At this point, you should have managed, one way or another, to convert NRG files to ISO, or at least extract their contents into a folder. If, however, you need to mount NRG files in a virtual drive, without first converting it to ISO, you have to turn to specific solutions, topo daemon Tools.
Daemon Tools is a program that allows you to “mount” NRG files (as well as many other types of image files) in virtual drives, in order to consult their contents and copy them to your PC. For Windows it is available in both a free version (called Daemon Tools Lite) and for a fee (with a base price starting from 5 euros / month) with extra functions, such as the ability to burn images and create bootable USB sticks. For macOS, however, it is only available in a paid variant (with a base price of 9 euros / month), but it can be downloaded in a trial version that works without limitations for 20 days.
To download Daemon Tools Lite on Windows, visit the program's website and click on the button Download. A download complete, apri il .exe file obtained and, in the window that appears on the desktop, press the buttons Yes, Free license e Install.
Then select the option Free Licenseclick on your bottone Agree & Continue, remove the check from the box for installing extra programmi and click the buttons Install ed Run. If during the setup phase you are also offered the installation of the controller Disc Soft, you agree to this: it serves to make the program work correctly. Instead, it rejects any requests relating to the installation of other software.
Now that you see the desktop software, click on the button Quickly mount which is located at the bottom left and select the NRG file saved on your computer for which you wish to intervene. Later, you will find the file in question in the form of a virtual CD / DVD drive in the section PC / Computer question dell 'File Explorer of Windows.
If, however, you are using macOS, to download Daemon Tools, go to this web page and click on the button Download, up. Then press the buttons in the Daemon Tools window Continue e Open DAEMON Tools.
At this point, click on the buttons Race e Close, in order to start the free trial period of the program, and mount the NRG file in your possession, by pressing the button Quickly mount located at the bottom left and selecting the image file of your interest. Later, you can access it from the sidebar of the Finder or from Desk, as if it were a common disk.
