If you are using Windows you will find the relative icon on the desktop (or in the Start menu), while if you are using a Mac you will find the WhatsApp app icon in the Launchpad (or in the folder Applications).

See the stories on WhatsApp in secret

How to see stories on WhatsApp

As anticipated at the beginning, to conclude on a high note, as they say, I would like to show you how to see the stories on WhatsApp secretly, that is to say by making sure that your name does not appear in the list of a given user of those who have viewed what was posted. To do this, just use a simple trick. Now I'll explain everything. However, keep in mind that the operations that must be carried out to take advantage of the trick are only feasible from mobile, from a computer you can only view the story without being "discovered".

First of all, start WhatsApp on your Android smartphone or iPhone and then proceed as follows depending on the device used.

    • Your Androidpigia sull'icona [...] that you find in the upper right part of the main screen of the app, select the item Settings from the menu that opens, click on Account, then on the voice Privacy and remove the check from the box next to the wording Read confirmations present in corrispondenza della sezione Messages in the new screen that appears.
    • Your iOS, tap on the item Settings which is at the bottom right of the main screen of the app, stage on the wording Account, select Privacy e carries his OFF the switch located next to the item Confirmations of readings.

By doing so, you have gone to deactivate the fateful blue ticks of WhatsApp, those that appear in correspondence with each message sent and received in conversations and that allow you and others to know when you read their messages (if you remember correctly, I spoke to you rather in depth of the thing in my tutorial dedicated, in fact, to how to disable the blue checkmarks of WhatsApp).

In addition to disabling the functionality in question, this way, however, makes it impossible to see your name to the person who published the story in case you look at it. Seeing is believing! As mentioned a few lines above, after completing the above steps you can watch the stories of others without being discovered not only by mobile but also by computer, the settings will take effect there too.

Caution: if, after viewing the story of the person of your interest, you enable the use of the blue ticks again, your name will appear in the names of the people who have viewed the latter and, therefore, you will no longer have acted in secret.
