It's really handy to have programs like the "Flavor Guide" that make our lives easier.
Luca Salerano
Of very good quality, the Sauter connected oven is well finished and efficient in terms of heating. It includes many well-made accessories as well as a wide range of features. Some are very useful, while others, more redundant, require a longer adaptation time. In our family, which consists of two adults and two young children, time is running out! It's really handy to have programs like the "Flavor Guide" that make our lives easier. Depending on the food we want to cook and its weight, he is able to set the oven to the right temperature and duration to allow us to succeed in our dishes every time!

More elaborate, the Easycook function is supposed to adapt the cooking permanently thanks to the sensors of the oven. Problem, when the oven is already hot following a previous preparation, you cannot use this function without waiting for the appliance to cool completely. It's really a shame when you're in a hurry. Suddenly, we return to the Flavor Guide mode which is less fussy. As far as the connected functions are concerned, it is practical to keep an eye on the progress of cooking remotely and to be able to stop it if necessary. As for the recipes integrated into the application or the Easycook mode, we did not find them more useful than that, since we already have our own collection of recipes and many other resources.

You can do everything automatically or adjust the settings according to your desires or habits.
Guillaume Guerineau
The use of the oven is very intuitive. Everything is simple to program and use. You can do everything automatically or adjust the settings according to your desires or habits. Difficult to miss a cooking, to cook too long or even to forget a dish simmering. No bad surprise, everything I prepared with the oven was cooked very well. Remote controls and receiving notifications are the big pluses of this device. As soon as the oven is hot, you can put it in the oven without waiting and without risking letting it heat up too long. I use the remote controls a lot for ignition and not to miss the end of cooking (especially with notifications on Apple Watch).

The Flavor Guide and Easycook modes are a plus, but they are not comprehensive enough for my taste. Even if they offer the most common recipes, more choices would make it even easier to use. We can hope that the manufacturer will eventually offer new recipes via the mobile application. Apart from that, it is a very complete oven that has no real faults for those who are used to cooking. In summary, I am fully satisfied with this device which perfectly meets my expectations and my uses. It allows me both to cook my meals more easily and to save time. By now I would have had a hard time switching to another oven.

After several weeks of use, it is clear that this oven fulfills its role perfectly.

After several weeks of use, it is clear that this oven fulfills its role perfectly. In addition to a large cavity, convection heat and an ultra-efficient grill, the multiple possibilities offered by the oven are capable of satisfying the most demanding users. The remote connection is very convenient. Preheat and end of cooking notifications let you go about your business without worrying about forgetting to cook. This is a big plus that brings real added value on a daily basis. It is a really useful connected object! The choice of cooking modes is made either from the oven or the mobile application, except for the "Grill" mode which benefits from finer settings on the oven. Personally, I only used the Easycook and Guide Saveur programs once to test them.

Since preheating is not taken into account in these modes, I find that this greatly limits the interest of these programs. However, the many other cooking methods offered are more than sufficient. On the cleaning side, pyrolysis is very effective, but not very practical. I regret that this operation requires removing the steps. It is even more complicated if you want to take advantage of the heat of the cavity to reduce the time and the cost of electricity by using the express program. This oven suits me perfectly, but in my opinion it lacks a thermal probe to get a fifth star! Fans of spit cooking will have to turn to another model, because this one does not have one.
Valentine Rolland-Jouanneau, Telgruc-sur-Mer (29)
The device is simple and efficient and it has a choice of well thought-out automatic programs such as the Flavor Guide or Easycook.

After several weeks of use, I can say that this Sauter oven offers excellent performance, both in terms of its manufacturing quality and its programs. I quickly forgot the absence of a paper notice, as well as certain details such as the non-retractable buttons. The device is simple and efficient and it has a choice of well thought-out automatic programs such as the Flavor Guide or Easycook. I was also quite amazed by the precision of the cooking, the temperature and the time chosen automatically by the Easycook program. The end result is really satisfying. It is also specified at what rail height the dish should be placed, and this gives perfect cooking above and below.

The preheating time is relatively fast, but those in a hurry can take advantage of a handy "Booster" button to go even faster. Special mention for the digital display which facilitates daily use. In my opinion, the wifi function is superfluous, because I do not start cooking when I am away. Sauter's mobile application is a plus for consulting the instructions for use as well as a few recipes, even if their number is really limited. This oven is an excellent product, whose multiple automatic or non-automatic cooking modes will suit both the most experienced chefs and those who want to get started in the kitchen.
Fabrice Gattolin, Montpellier (34)
On several occasions, I found myself using the mobile app to adjust the cooking mode, time and temperature, rather than doing it from the oven while I was standing right in front of it!
Fabrice Gattolin
After several weeks of use, I am torn about the added value of a connected oven. The fact that the oven is connected to wifi and can be switched on and controlled remotely is useful, but is it really essential? In my opinion, not necessarily. Because of my lifestyle (young working couple), we have never had to change our way of cooking and adapt it to the fact that we now have a connected oven. I can't imagine preparing a meal several hours beforehand, putting it in the oven before leaving for work, letting it macerate for several hours at room temperature, then turning on the oven from the office so that it simmers while I return to the House.
The Sauter SOP6417LX connected oven tested by Fabrice
The idea sounds good and easy to execute on paper, but in reality the occasions where I needed to do this did not arise. On several occasions, I found myself using the mobile app to adjust the cooking mode, time and temperature, rather than doing it from the oven while I was standing right in front of it! It must be said that the application is particularly pleasant to use. The Easycook and Guide Saveur programs did not seem to me to be sufficiently advanced to be useful to me. If I proudly spoke to those around me about the fact that my oven was connected, I did not, however, praise its related skills.

Supplied with two grids and a drip pan and equipped with several cooking modes, it quickly becomes a great asset in the kitchen.
Marion Toupet
The Sauter SOP6417LX oven is beautiful, reliable and has a large cavity with several useful levels. Supplied with two grids and a drip pan and equipped with several cooking modes, it quickly becomes a great asset in the kitchen. The cooking is even on a gratin, roasted vegetables, or three batches of biscuits, for example. If you have any doubts about the cooking method (temperature, convection heat, duration, etc.), the Flavor Guide is accessible in a jiffy and is well thought out. By adjusting the weight of the dish, it calculates the cooking time. The little extras of the Sauter oven lie in the drip pan on telescopic rails as well as its ability to heat up to 270Β°. It's great, especially for bread and pizza.

If you are part of the "connected team", the Sauter mobile application is for you. It allows you to adjust the temperature and cooking time with remarkable simplicity, but the oven also works very well without it. This is a plus, but not essential to its operation. Another clever detail of the oven: the timer stops when the door is opened during cooking to check or adjust the dish. It is a really very practical device and you just have to try it to adopt it.
Xavier Dartiguelongue, Saint-Leon (31)
It's a very good quality Spanish-made oven and now that I've tried it, I'd be hard pressed to live without it.
Xavier Dartiguelongue
After several weeks of use, I find the Sauter connected oven to be an excellent product. Whether automatic or manual, the programs are just perfect. The ones I used the most are those for cooking gratins and pies. In both cases, the grill mode engages automatically. The Flavor Grill feature is not available on built-in programs. The program can only be used in manual mode and in this case, the grill will start automatically during the last five minutes of cooking. I find that the connected functions do not bring any particular benefits, because these are only usable when the wifi mode is activated beforehand.
The Sauter SOP6417LX connected oven tested by Xavier
Remote control is possible from the mobile app. This allows you to start the oven remotely and monitor cooking in real time. When the wifi mode is not activated, you can receive notifications via the mobile application when the oven door is opened or when the cooking is finished, for example. It's a very good quality Spanish-made oven and now that I've tried it, I'd be hard pressed to live without it. Sauter's know-how in the field of cooking is impressive. I therefore recommend this connected oven to all cooking enthusiasts.
