So far I have talked to you about the easy access possibilities to an Instagram profile, but if it is a profile you have not accessed for some time it could also be that you no longer remember the login data. In this case, do you want to know how you should proceed? The answer is simple: you need to recover your data.
To perform this procedure, follow the instructions I am about to give you. First open the Instagram application and, from the initial app login screen, press the button Get help with logging in located at the bottom of the login screen.
At this point you will be sent back to the section dedicated to recovering your account. The first thing you need to do is choose how you want to proceed to recover your account. For example, if you remember your username or the email address indicated during registration, enter it in the text field Username or email.
If, on the other hand, you remember the phone number with which you registered (which is certainly much more likely), tap on the section Telephone and type your mobile number in the text field Telephone. In both cases, after indicating the login data necessary for recovery, press the button Send login link and then press on OK the notice that will appear on the screen.
In the first case, you will have been emailed a link that will allow you to recover your account. In fact, you just need to open the email and click on the button Log in as [your username] to finally get your account back. Alternatively, you can also click on the link named reset your Instagram password, which will allow you to quickly change your password.
If, on the other hand, you are no longer able to log into your Instagram account and have chosen to carry out the recovery by phone number, an SMS will be sent to the mobile number indicated by you and there will be a link inside it that refers to the official website of the social network. Just click on it and you will be able to access your Instagram profile again.
In case you also clicked on the entry reset your Instagram password, keep in mind that, to carry out the password change procedure, you will need to act through the web page that will open on your browser.
