Cover Certury is an online service, completely free, that allows you to search for CD, DVD and Blu-Ray covers, both for music albums and for movies and video games. Registration is not required and you can download the covers to your computer in JPG format.
To find and download the covers of your interest, connected to the Cover Century main page and select the item CD covers, located in the top menu, in order to display the list of the most searched music covers. At this point, click on initial letter of the title of the album whose cover you want to download and, in the new open page, locate the cover you are looking for.
Alternatively, to speed up the search, type the name of the album or artist of your interest in the field Search, at the top right, click on the button Submit, to view the search results, and click on the cover you wish to download.
At this point, all you have to do is click on the button Download now, to save the cover in question on your computer, and that's it. Simple, right?
Cover Target
Cover Target is another valid online service that allows you to find the covers of your interest. It has a rich archive of CD and DVD covers, for which no registration is required.
If you think Cover Target is the solution that best suits your needs, connect to the official website of the service, locate the box Search for Covers, insertion il artist name and / or the album title of which you are looking for the cover in the appropriate field and click on the button Submit of your computer keyboard, to view the search results.
On the newly opened page, locate the cover of your interest, click on it, right click on the image to download and choose the option Save image as from the menu that opens. Finally, click on the button Save, to save the cover on your computer.
Sloth Radio
Sloth Radio is another website that I recommend you use not only to find and download CD covers, but also those of movies, video games and books. It's free and no registration is required.
To find a cover on Sloth Radio, linked to the main page of the service, select the tab Music, type the name of the artist of your interest in the field Artist and specify the title of the album you are looking for in the field Album.
If you wish, click on the option Advanced Options and select the options you prefer, to refine your search. For example, if you want to search exclusively for covers of a certain size, select the option that interests you (Largest available, Large (300×300), Medium (150×150) e Small (50×50)) process the menu to tendin Image Size.
At this point, click on your button Search, to view the search results, locate the cover of your interest, right click on it and select the option Save image as, to download it to your computer.
Programs to download CD covers
I programs to download CD covers to be installed on the computer are another valid solution to find and download the covers of music albums. Here are some such software that you can consider to succeed.
Album Art Downloader (Windows)
Album Art Downloader is a free program for Windows that allows you to find music album covers by tapping into the databases of popular online services, such as Amazon, Discogs, Deezer, iTunes, Google Play Music and many more.
To download Album Art Downloader on your computer, connected to the page dedicated to the program and click on the button Download. Once this is done, run the file AlbumArtDownloaderXUI- [version] .exe just got it, press the button Yes, to allow the software to make changes to your computer, and choose the option I Agree, to accept the terms of the license agreement.
Then click on the buttons Next e install, to start installing the program, and wait for the progress bar to reach 100%. Then click on the option Close, to close the window and start Album Art Downloader.
At this point, locate the section Sources and, first of all, put the check mark next to the sources of your interest (eg. iTunes, MusicBrainz, Amazon, Discogs, 7digital, AllCdCover etc.). To have a better chance of finding the cover you are looking for, I recommend that you select all the available sources by placing the check mark next to the item Select All.
Now, enter the artist name and album title in the fields Artist e Album and click on the button Search, to start the search. MP3 Cover Finder (Windows)
MP3 Cover Finder is a program that allows you to add the songs of your interest and automatically download their cover, with the possibility of saving the image on your computer. It's only available for Windows PCs and costs $ 19,90 with a 30-day free trial.
To download MP3 Cover Finder on your computer, connected to the program download page, click on the button Download, select the option Ashampoo MP3 Cover Finder and press pulsating Start the download.
Once the download is complete, double-click the file ashampoo_mp3_cover_finder.exe obtained, select the language of your interest and press the button OK, then click on the items I accept and proceed e NEXT, to start the installation. Then wait for the progress bar to reach 100% and press the button end, to close the window and start the program.
When you start MP3 Cover Finder for the first time, click on the button Continue, to start using the program for free for 10 days, otherwise select the option Get a trial period extension, to connect to the official MP3 Cover Finder website and obtain a license key that allows you to get a free 30-day trial.
With that done, you are ready to download as many covers as you want. To do this, click on the button Add, select the option From file (to add a single piece of music) or Folder (to import an entire music album to MP3 Cover Finder) and choose the song or album for which you want to download the cover. On the screen Find coversclick on your button Yes, to start the automatic cover search and add it to the songs imported just now.
At this point, click on your button Export the cover as an image (l'icona del floppy disk), select the folder in which to save the file in question and press the button Save, to download the cover to your computer.
Music (macOS)
If you are looking for a program for macOS that allows you to download your album covers from the Internet, I am sorry to tell you that there is no software of this kind. However, if your intention is to edit the MP3 tags of your songs and add a cover to them, you can use the app Music from Apple, available on all Macs with macOS Catalina 10.15 or later versions.
All you have to do is start the application in question and, if you have not already done so, import the songs of your interest by selecting the items Fillet e Import from the top menu. Once this is done, click on the item Album located in the sidebar on the left, right click on the album of your interest and choose the option Get scrapbook illustration give the menu check if you press.

- Album Cover Finder (Android): another app of the category thanks to which it is possible to search, add and modify the covers of music albums by taking the necessary material from Amazon. It's free.
- Album / Cover Art Finder (Android): is a free app that allows you to locate all missing covers for selected albums. Its interface turns out to be quite clean and it also supports simultaneous content download.
- Music (iOS / iPadOS): is the app installed “as standard” on iPhone and iPad that not only allows you to play the songs available on your device and on Apple Music but also allows you to automatically download the covers of your albums.
