Delete the profile picture from WhatsApp
Do you want to understand how to delete your profile photo from WhatsApp and you don't know how to do it? Then follow the instructions on what to do that you find right below. The procedure can be performed without any kind of problem from both smartphone and computer.
From Android
Are you using an Android smartphone? Then you can delete the profile photo from WhatsApp by first grabbing your mobile phone, unlocking it, accessing the drawer and tapping the icon of the famous app.
Now, tap the button [...] at the top right and select Settings from the menu that opens. In the new screen that appears, tap on the your profile picture which is at the top, on the button with the camera and, finally, choose Remove image give the menu check if you press.
If you then want to set a different photo instead of removing it, choose the appropriate option to take it from the gallery or to take a photo at the moment through the aforementioned menu.
Have you deleted your profile photo on WhatsApp but now would you like to retrace your steps? In that case, go to the section again Settings of the app, tap on the image of thelittle man, then on camera and choose whether to take a photo at the moment or whether to select an image from the mobile phone gallery, selecting the corresponding option, as I have just explained to you.
From iOS
If you are using an iPhone, in order to delete the profile photo from WhatsApp the first move you need to make is to grab your Apple-branded mobile phone, unlock it, access the home screen and tap the icon of the famous messaging application snapshot.
Now, tap on the icon Settings which is at the bottom right of the screen displayed, presses on you don't know at the top and select the item modification twice in a row. Then select the wording from the menu that appears Delete photos and it's done.
If instead of removing the photo you want to change it with another image, choose the option Take a picture (to take a photo at the moment) or that Choose photos (to take the image to use from the device gallery).
Have you deleted your profile photo and now want to reset it? To do this, go to the section again Settings of WhatsApp, tap on add photos and, through the menu that opens, choose whether to take a photo at the moment or whether to select an image from the photo gallery of the device, as seen above.
Yes Windows / Mac
Do you use WhatsApp Desktop and would like to understand how to delete your profile photo through it? Then first open the WhatsApp application for Windows or Mac and scan the QR code present on the screen (if necessary). If you don't know how to do it, open WhatsApp on your smartphone, go to Settings> WhatsApp Web / Desktop> Scan QR Code and scan the displayed code with the mobile phone camera.
Now, click on your profile picture which is at the top left, move the pointer over the image and click on it, then choose, from the menu that opens, the option Remove image. And There you go!
If instead of removing the photo you want to edit it with another one already saved on your computer, choose Upload photos from the menu that opens and select it. You can also take a photo at the moment (if your computer has a webcam) by clicking on the entry Take a picture that you always find in the aforementioned menu.
Have you deleted your profile photo on WhatsApp following the instructions above and now you want to set it again? Easier to do than to tell you. Click on the picture oflittle man in the upper left part of the WhatsApp Desktop window, click on the item Add picture to profile and choose whether to select a photo from those on your computer or to take it at the moment (always if you have a webcam), proceeding as I indicated in the previous lines.
From the Web
You can also delete photos from WhatsApp by intervening from the Web version of the famous service. To do this, open the browser you generally use to surf the net from your computer (eg. Chrome), visit the WhatsApp Web home page and scan the QR code displayed (if necessary). If you don't know how to do it, open WhatsApp on your smartphone, go to Settings> WhatsApp Web / Desktop> Scan QR Code and scan the displayed code with the mobile phone camera.
Then click on tua photo Profile which is at the top left and then click again on tua photo and select, from the menu that opens, the option Remove image. Done!
If instead of deleting the image you want to change it with another one already saved on your computer, select Upload photos from the menu. You can also take a photo at the moment (if your computer has a webcam) by clicking on the option Take a picture always attached to the same menu.
If, on the other hand, you had previously deleted your photo on WhatsApp but then thought about it again and now you would like to set it again, click on the figure of thelittle man in the upper left section of WhatsApp Web, press on Add picture to profile and choose whether to select a photo from those on your computer or to take it at the moment (always if you have a webcam), as I explained earlier.
Delete photos in WhatsApp conversations
Do you want to understand how to delete photos from WhatsApp present in conversations? Then the instructions you need to follow are the ones you find below. Also in this case, the procedure is feasible through the WhatsApp app for smartphones, the one for computers and the Web version of the service.
From Android
If you are using WhatsApp on Android, you can delete the photos present in the conversations by first accessing the card Chat of the app, to identify the reference conversation and tap on it.
In the new screen that appears, tap on name of the contact or group at the top and select the wording Media. Now make sure that the card is selected Media (and if not, take care of yourself) then locate the images you want to delete, press on them and keep pressing for a few moments to select them and stop on the button with the dustbin top right.
Finally, select the option Delete media from phone if you want to make sure that the photos you are about to delete are also removed from the gallery of your Android smartphone, choose Delete for me and it's done. If it was you who sent the photos, you can possibly decide to delete the images for everyone by selecting the appropriate option (provided that the maximum time limit has not already elapsed).
As an alternative to the procedure described above, you can delete the photos by opening the reference conversation, identifying the images within it, pressing on them, continuing to hold down for a few moments and choosing the option to proceed with the removal.
From iOS
Do you use WhatsApp on iPhone? Then, first of all, tap on the item Chat which is at the bottom then select the conversation you are interested in going to act and press on name of the reference contact or on that of the group at the top.
Nella schermata successiva, selects the voice Media, link and documenti and check that the tab is selected at the top Media (otherwise you provide).
Now, tap on Select at the top right, select the images you want to delete from the conversation and press the icon dustbin bottom right. Choose Delete for me from the menu that appears and it's done. Note that if you sent the photos yourself, you can choose to delete the images for everyone by selecting the option Delete for all from the menu (provided that the maximum time allowed has not already elapsed).
As well as as I have just indicated, you can delete the photos by identifying those in relation to which you intend to act directly in the conversation, pressing on them, continuing to hold down for a few moments and selecting the item Delete give the menu to compare.
Then tap on the symbol of dustbin at the bottom left and choose whether to delete the photos for you or for everyone depending on whether you inserted the image in the conversation or not and on the basis of the time elapsed since the sending of the same.

Yes Windows / Mac
If, on the other hand, you are using the desktop application of the service, you can delete the photos from WhatsApp present in the conversations by first identifying the chat session in relation to which you are interested, go to act from the left section of the screen, by clicking on it and then pressing on the name of the contact or group at the top right.
Then click on the item Media, link and documenti that you always find on the right, check that the tab is selected Media (and if not, select it yourself), put a check mark on the photos you want to delete and press the button with the dustbin top right. Then select the item Delete for me and it's done.
If it was you who sent the photos, you can also choose to delete them for everyone by selecting the appropriate option, given the fact that you have not yet exceeded the maximum time limit allowed by WhatsApp.
In addition to this, as I have just indicated, you can delete the photographs present in a conversation by clicking on dart that you find in the upper right part of the same and selecting the item Delete message from the menu that opens. Even in this case, you can then choose whether to delete the photos for you or for everyone, depending on whether it was you who sent the image and that no more time has passed since the sending.
From the Web
Deleting photos from WhatsApp by intervening from the Web version of the service is just as simple. To do this, locate the reference conversation from the list on the left, click on it, select the name of the contact or group that is at the top right and presses on the link Media, link and documenti which is further to the right.
Now check that the tab is selected Media (otherwise select it yourself), locate the photos you want to delete and select them. Then click on the symbol of dustbin at the top right and choose Delete for me. Done!
I also point out that it was you who sent a given image and if you have not yet exceeded the maximum time limit connected by WhatsApp, you can possibly choose to delete the photos for everyone, by clicking on the appropriate button.
As an alternative to the steps above, you can delete photos attached to a conversation by clicking on dart that you find in the upper right part of each of them and clicking the option Delete message from the menu that appears. You can then choose, even in this case, whether to delete the photos for you or for everyone, by clicking on the relevant buttons and always taking into account what was previously specified.
