Preliminary information
Before getting to the heart of the tutorial, going to illustrate how to delete a blocked contact on WhatsApp, there is some preliminary information about it that it is my duty to provide you.
Let's start from a fixed point: deleting a contact blocked on WhatsApp, so as not to display it anymore in the contact list of the application, also means deleting it from the phone book of the smartphone.
By doing so, the contact in question continues to remain blocked and the relative telephone number (without name, as it is no longer present in the address book) continues to be visible in the WhatsApp section where it is possible to view the list of users who have been blocked.
Removing a name or numbering only from the aforementioned list, instead, involves it release contact. With the unblocking, the contact involved again acquires the right to contact the person who blocked him on WhatsApp, view his status and his last access (unless otherwise specified in the app settings, as I also explained to you in my guide on how to block a person on WhatsApp).
How to delete a contact already blocked on WhatsApp
Having made the necessary clarifications above, let's get to the point and let's find out how to delete a contact already blocked on WhatsApp. The procedure can be put into practice on Android, its iPhone and also on computer, but in the latter case there are some limitations. To find out more, please read on.
Your Android
To begin with, let's find out how to delete a blocked contact on WhatsApp for Android. So, take your phone, unlock it, access the home screen or the drawer and select theWhatsApp icon (Quella with the green speech bubble and the white handset).
Now that you see the main application screen, select the tab Chat which is at the top and tap on conversazione with the blocked contact you are interested in going to act on If necessary, you can help you find it through the Campo di Ricerca at the top, by typing the name of the contact blocked inside. Then click on name located at the top, then on the button with i three dots vertically e seleziona l'opzione View in the address book give the menu to compare.
After completing the above steps, the contact card of your interest will open in the app Phonebook / Contacts of Android. Press, therefore, on the button to call up the menu (usually it is the one with the three dots located at the top of the screen) and choose the item Delete from the latter. Then confirm your intentions by touching the wording Delete that you find in the box that is shown to you, and that's it.
As an alternative to what I have just indicated, you can go to act directly from the app Phonebook / Contacts, without having to go through WhatsApp first. To do this, tap onicona dell'applicazione (usually it is the one with the phonebook) that you find on the home screen or in the drawer, select the nominative in relation to which you wish to intervene and press on the item Details. If necessary, you can help you find it through the Campo di Ricerca present at the top, by typing the name of the contact inside.
Once you open the contact card blocked on WhatsApp you want to delete, tap on button to call up the menu and select the item Delete, then confirm your intentions by touching your voice again Delete that you find in the box that appears on the display.
Please note: the items to be selected in the Android phonebook may differ from what you see on the screen, depending on the brand and model of smartphone you are using as well as the exact version of the operating system used.
Your iPhone
Be, invent, possiedi a iPhone, to delete a contact blocked on WhatsApp, first take your "iPhone by", unlock it and access the home screen, then select theWhatsApp icon (Quella with the green speech bubble and the white handset).
In the app screen that is now shown to you, if you want to delete a contact that you have already blocked on WhatsApp, select the relative one conversazione from the card Chat placed at the bottom. If you deem it necessary, you can help you locate the chat by typing the contact name in the Campo di Ricerca placed at the top.
In Seguito, Premium contact name which is on top and then on the item Modification which is shown to you in the upper right part of the new screen that has opened. Once this is done, click on the wording Delete contact and confirm what your intentions are by selecting the option Delete contact give the menu check if you press.
If in the list of chats in progress there is no conversation with the blocked person you want to delete from your contacts or in any case as an alternative to what I have indicated above, you can proceed as follows: open the app, Contacts on iOS, by touching the relative icon (Quella with the phonebook) that you find on the home screen, and select the name of the contact blocked on WhatsApp that you want to delete. If necessary, even in this case you can help you find it by typing the name in the Campo di Ricerca placed at the top.
After completing the above steps, tap on the item Modification top right, then on the wording Delete contact and confirm what your intentions are, by tapping on the item again Delete contact present in the menu that appears.
On computer
Deleting a contact blocked on WhatsApp is also feasible from computer but, as I told you, in this case there are some limitations.
More precisely, being both the WhatsApp client for Windows / macOS and WhatsApp Web of the "repetitions" of the application installed on the smartphone, some operations, such as the removal of contacts, must be performed on the mobile phone.
The only alternative system that can be adopted, considering that WhatsApp contacts refer to those saved in the phone book, is to synchronize the latter with services like Gmail o iCloud and proceed with the deletion of the relevant names in the web panels (also accessible from a computer).

How to delete a contact blocked on WhatsApp
If you are wondering how to delete a contact blocked on WhatsApp, going to remove the relevant name or phone number from the list of those blocked in the app and, consequently, also going to unblock it, the steps you must follow are the following.
Your Android
If what you are using is a smartphone Android, to unblock a contact on WhatsApp, first take your device, unlock it and access the home screen or drawer, then select theWhatsApp icon (Quella with the green speech bubble and the white handset).
In the app screen that you now see, tap the button with i three dots vertically located at the top right, then on the entry Settings present in the menu that opens and touches the wording Account you find on the next screen.
At this point, select the item Privacywhy are you cheating? Contacts blocked and choose the contact in relation to which you are interested in going to act. Then press on the item Unblock [contact name] in the box that opens and the contact of your interest will be immediately removed from the list of blocked ones and, consequently, will be unblocked.
Your iPhone
If you own a iPhone, to delete a contact from the list of those blocked on WhatsApp, do this: take the device, unlock it, access the home screen and select theWhatsApp icon (Quella with the green speech bubble and the white handset).
Now that you see the main application screen, select the tab Settings, by touching the appropriate wording located at the bottom right, then select the items Account, Privacy e Blocked.
Now, touch the voice Modification present at the top right of the next screen, select the contact in relation to which you wish to go to act from the proposed list, press on circular red button appeared next to the name or phone number and tap the button Unlock, so that the contact of your interest is immediately removed from the list of blocked ones and, consequently, is unblocked.
On computer
Now let's see how to unblock a contact from WhatsApp by going to act from computer. First, start theWhatsApp application on your computer or connected to Web WhatsApp. When you see the WhatsApp screen on your computer, click on the i icon three dots vertically (on Windows and on WhatsApp WeB) or on the one with the down arrow (on macOS) present at the top left, select the item Settings from the menu that appears and then the wording Blocked.
Now, locate the contact in relation to which you are interested in going to act, press on (X) located in its correspondence and confirm your intentions by pressing the button Unlock. By doing so, the contact on which you have chosen to intervene will be immediately removed from the list of blocked ones and, consequently, unblocked.
