Google Photos is getting better. You can now order photo prints through Google Photos, and opt for direct-to-home delivery (or pick them up the same day at a CVS, Walgreens or Walmart store if you're in the US, 7-Eleven in Japan).
Google Photos is a great tool for storing all your photos, but it can even be more useful than that. For example, you can extract text from an image, or hide your sensitive photos in a locked folder. If you use Apple devices, you can also easily transfer iCloud photos and videos to Google Photos.
But a new feature has just been announced today by the Mountain View company: the software now allows to send prints of printed photos, And this, directly to your home, for different prices and in various sizes.
Make prints of your best photos and have them delivered to your home
As part of its home delivery update, Google is offering many sizes. You can now print photos in 11×14, 12×18, 16×20, and 20×30 inch sizes. This goes along with the 4×6, 5×7 or 8×10 inch prints already offered by the company in some countries. You will also have the possibility to have more sizes canvas prints.
The order is made from the Google Photos app, where just tap a photo, go to the top right, tap More > Order Photo > Photo Prints. It is possible to print several in a row. On delivery, you will have to choose Ship my order and enter your delivery address to be delivered to your home.

The firm also announced the arrival of photo books. The software helps you by highlighting relevant images and helping you choose the best ones. Easily add, remove or move images, add a title, choose a cover design and you're done. The photo books cost $9,99 (prices are not yet displayed in euros).
Google says this new service is rolling out first in the US and Japan. Photo printing at home not yet available in Spain. Printing prices start at $ 0,18 unity.
