How to adjust the Tinder algorithm
To customize the algorithm settings of tinder and increase the chances of finding the profiles of your interest, start the official app of the service (which you can download for free from the Play Store or from alternative stores for Android or from the App Store of iOS / iPadOS), reminding you that for the app to function correctly it is necessary to activate the location services, and log in to your account. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can log in to tinder from the Web, by connecting to its official website.
Now, in the main screen of the app, press onicona dell'omino located in the upper right corner and tap the button Settings (the'icona dell'ingranaggio). If you are logged in to tinder from the Web, on the other hand, click on the wording My Profile, located at the top.
Once this is done, in both cases, to customize the search for people on Tinder, use the options in the section Discoveries: therefore indicates the maximum distance search for people, choose if you want to be offered the cards of men, of women or both (All) and also customize the age range. When you have finished making changes, click on the button Done, to confirm the changes.
How to search for a specific person on Tinder
As an alternative to the procedures just indicated, in order to search for a person on Tinder in the true sense of the word, it is possible to use the Search Engine present in the section relating to match located in the smartphone app, which in fact is the only solution available to search for a user by typing their name.
To make use of it, all you need to do is first launch the tinder and log in to your account. Then, tap on thefumetto icon located in the top menu. Then scroll down the screen, in order to view the Search Engine, and type the name of the person with whom you had a match, in order to identify their profile and also any conversations with them. How to find a person on Instagram from Tinder
Find a person on Instagram starting from Tinder it is a fairly simple operation to do. In fact, many Tinder users are used to linking their account Instagram on the dating app and, therefore, on their profile it is also possible to see the photos published on the famous photographic social network.
Very often, moreover, Tinder users also indicate their own Instagram username in description, effectively making the search for the profile superfluous. If this happens, in fact, all you have to do is connect to Instagram and type, in the search engine (theicon of the lens of ingrandimento) the username of the person found on Tinder, in order to identify his profile and possibly follow it, by pressing the button Follow.
How to find a Tinder person on Facebook
You met a person on tinder and would like to find her profile on Facebook? In this case, you should know that the operation in question could be a little more difficult than the one seen just now for Instagram.
I say this as on tinder, unlike what happens on other social networks, you can only indicate your own name (or a nickname), without necessarily writing your own last name and, moreover, it is not possible to publish photos of Facebook as it is possible to do with Instagram.
However, after having a private conversation with a user, you can directly ask the person in question if he or she is present on Facebook. If successful, just connect to Mark Zuckeberg's social network and type, in the latter's search engine, the name and last name of the person of interest, in order to identify his profile.
Alternatively, if you found the profile Instagram of the user of your interest, following the instructions I gave you in the previous chapter, you can try to search for the profile Facebook of the person in question, by typing in the search engine of Mark Zuckeberg's social network the name and last name of the user. It is, in fact, possible that this person, if registered with Instagram, also have a profile Facebook.
