How to join a GTA 5 Online Crew
If you want join a crew in GTA 5 Online, what you have to do is carefully read all the procedures that I will show you in the next chapters and put them into practice.
I anticipate that, to carry out this operation, it is necessary to subscribe to the social Club by Rockstar: an operation that I will describe to you in the next paragraphs. Enjoy the reading!
Join the Rockstar Games Social Club
What you need to do, before attempting to join a crew on GTA 5 Online, is to register for the Rockstar Games Social Club. To do this, you can act directly from the website of the service and register by following the instructions on the screen.
In case you play GTA 5 from PlayStation o Xbox, you can register directly with the account of these platforms. Alternatively, if you play GTA 5 from PC, press the button Subscribe, to display a screen with a procedure to follow.
You will first be prompted to indicate yours date of birth, then you will have to accept the terms of use of the service and, finally, indicate all your data relating to the account you want to create: e-mail, Password, nickname e regione.
As we have just seen together, creating an account on the Rockstar Social Club is a breeze but, if you are unsure of any steps, my advice is to carefully consult my guide on how to join the GTA Social Club.
After you have created an account social Club, you can use it to play GTA 5 and access all the features of this service, so you can interact with other users and join a crew in the online mode of the famous Rockstar title.
Joining a Crew on GTA 5 Online from the Web
If you want join a crew on GTA 5 Online, know that you can do this directly from the website of the Rockstar Games Social Club: what you have to do is simply access the web page of this service, press the button Log in, and enter the login credentials relating to the account in your possession (the one I told you about in the previous chapter).
If you play GTA 5 from PlayStation o Xboxinstead, press the icons related to these platforms, which you find right below the buttons Log in e Subscribe and log in by entering username/email e Password of your account.
After logging in to the social Club by Rockstar Games, to join a crew you must first hover the mouse cursor over the board Crew, which you find in the bar at the top. After doing this, in the box that is shown below, select the item Search and you will access the list of all the crews in the game.
Once this is done, use the search bar at the top (Search for Crew), to type the name of the group you want to join. If you do not yet know the name of the group and you are still looking for one suitable for you, click on thefilter icon, in the upper right corner, to filter the search by group type or number of members.
Now, click on a crew name, to access its descriptive card, with all the details related to the group and other public information. In the event that the group is full and has reached 1.000 members, unfortunately you cannot send any entry requests. If not, instead, you simply have to press the key Join, located at the top right, to apply for admission.
However, this operation is only possible for open groups: if the group you would like to be part of is closed, it means that you cannot freely join it, but you must first send a request, which will be moderated by the crew administrators. If so, instead of the button Join, you will find one named Request an invitation.
Well: at this point you don't have to do anything more. If the crew you chose was open, you will be instantly placed among the group members. If not, you will have to wait for your entry request to be accepted.
If you accidentally joined a crew you don't care about, on the social Club, click on the items Crew> The mie Crew and press the icon (...) that you find in the box of the group you joined.
From the items shown to you, select the one named Leave crew and then press the confirm button to leave the group.
Joining a Crew on GTA 5 Online in-game
The Social Club Web Portal is definitely the most suitable tool for joining a Crew on GTA 5 Online, no matter which platform you are playing on. Alternatively, you can also perform this operation in game, carefully following the procedures that I will describe in the next paragraphs.
The first thing you need to do is start GTA 5 and wait for the initial title screen to load. Having done this, from PC, press the button Start on your keyboard, so that the Social Club bar appears. Now click on the tab Social and, in the screen that is shown to you, select the item Find Crew.
Now, what you need to do is scroll through the list and find the crew to join. Alternatively, you can type the group name, if you know it, directly into the search box (Search by name), at the top, or use the filters you find in the drop-down menu next to it.
To join the crew, press the button Join, in case the group is open, or press the button named Request an invitation, if the group is closed (you will then have to wait for an administrator to accept your request).
In a similar way to what I indicated in the previous chapter on the Social Club web platform, in case you want to leave a group you joined erroneously, select the tab The mie Crew and fai clic sul tasto Leave crew related to the group you want to leave.
If you want to join a crew on GTA 5 Online on game consoles, like PlayStation 4 o Xbox Online, my advice is to proceed directly from the Social Club web platform, as it is a more immediate and accurate procedure.
If not, from the pause menu, select the tabs Online > Crew and view the list of groups present in the sections with the suggested groups and those of friends. Then choose the crew you want to join and send an access request (if the group is closed) or join it directly (if it is open).
