    Chrome is the default browser of many Android terminals, so it seems only right to start with it. If you use Chrome and do not know how to access the favorites saved in the latter, do this: start the app by pressing on its icon on the home screen or on the screen with the list of all the applications installed on the device, tap the button It is located at the top right of the browser toolbar and select the item Add to Wishlist give the menu to compare.

    Even though you have turned on bookmark sync on your computer, can't find the bookmarks you have saved in Chrome from your PC? Don't panic, probably in the Chrome settings on Android there is some option disabled that prevents you from viewing the bookmarks saved by Windows or macOS.

    To remedy the problem, press the ⋮ button in Chrome for Android and access the Settings of the app. Then press on you don't know present at the top of the screen that opens, then on the item Synchronization and, if not, put the check mark next to the option Synchronize everything (if you want to sync all Chrome settings with your PC, including bookmarks) or next to the option Add to Wishlist, if you want to sync only the bookmarks and other settings of your preference (which you can always choose from the same menu). Now wait a few seconds and you should see your PC's saved favorites appear in the Android version of Chrome.



    How to find favorites on Android

    If in the menu Settings Chrome does not find your name, but the option Log in to Chrome, it means that the browser is not yet associated with your Google account. Then press on the item in question and log in with your Google account data (the same one you use in Chrome on your computer). Once logged in, activate the synchronization of your favorites as explained above.     Finally, I would like to point out that another way to quickly find bookmarks saved in Chrome is to type their title or address in the address bar browser: your bookmarks will appear in the Chrome suggestion list.

    Have you decided to use Firefox as the default browser on your Android terminal? No problem. In fact, accessing and finding your favorites is easier than ever in the Mozilla home browser.

    To view the complete list of bookmarks you have saved in Firefox, all you have to do is start the app by selecting its icon on the home screen (or in the list with all the apps installed on the device in use), press the ⋮ button located at the top right of the screen that opens and select the item Bookmarks from the menu that appears on the device

    Mission accomplished! You have just arrived in the Firefox favorites management page, in which there are the bookmarks you have saved from your smartphone or tablet (if you do not know how to add a site to bookmarks, just visit it, press the ⋮ button located at the top on the right and select the ⭐️ icon from the menu that opens), plus a folder, named desktop pc bookmarks, which contains bookmarks added to Firefox from a computer.


    If you do not see the folder related to bookmarks saved from PC or it is empty, make sure you have activated the service Firefox Sync on the computer (by going to the menu ☰> Options / Preferences> Firefox Account) and that the option relating to Bookmarks is active.

    Then switch to Android, press the ⋮ button in Firefox, access the settings browser by selecting the appropriate item from the menu that appears, presses on your e-mail adress and, if not already there, put the check mark next to the item Bookmarks. If you do not see your email address in the Firefox settings menu, it means that you have not yet activated Firefox Sync on Android and therefore you must log in to the service (using the same credentials used on the PC) by pressing the appropriate item.

    Once your bookmarks are loaded into Firefox, you can search for them directly using the address bar browser: once you have typed the title or address of a favorite site, in fact, this will appear among the Firefox suggestions marked by the ⭐️ icon.


    Find your favorites in Edge for Android

    Microsoft has brought Edge, Windows 10's default browser, to Android as well. If you use Edge on your computer and now you want to learn how to manage the bookmarks of this browser also on Android, here is how to do it.

    For the first thing, avvia Edge selecting its icon from the home screen of your smartphone / tablet or from the screen with the list of all the apps installed on the device. Then press the ★ ≡ button located at the top right, select the ⭐️ icon from the screen that opens (top left) and browse the favorites that are currently saved in the browser. To search through the bookmarks, press the icon? and use the search bar which appears at the top.


    If you don't know how to add a new favorite to Edge for Android, visit the site of your interest, press the ★ ≡ button located at the top right and select the item Add current page to Favorites (add the current page to your Favorites) from the screen that opens.

    When accessing the Edge Favorites list, didn't you find the bookmarks you had saved on your PC? You probably haven't turned on data synchronization on your computer or smartphone.

    To remedy the problem, start Edge on your computer, press the button ... collocato in alto a destra, selects the voice Settings from the bar that appears on the side and make sure that the lever under the wording Account is activated (if not, activated you). If no account is configured in the browser, remedy the problem by connecting your Microsoft account to the PC: you can find out how to do it in my tutorial on how to change Microsoft account.

    At this point, switch to your Android device, start Edge, press the button ... located at the bottom right and select the item Settings (settings) from the menu that appears. In the screen that opens, tap the you don't know present in the screen that opens, make sure that the lever for the function Sync (synchronization) is set to ON and, if necessary, activate the option Sync your favorites and reading list between phone and PC (synchronizes the favorites and the reading list between phone and PC) which is located a little further down.

    If you don't see your name in the Edge settings menu, you haven't yet linked the browser to your Microsoft account. Then click on the relevant option and log in using the same account you configured on your computer.

    How to find favorites on Android

    If you have a Samsung device and use the browser produced by the Korean company, you can access your favorites simply by starting the latter and pressing the button Add to Wishlist located at the bottom right. A page will open with all the sites you have bookmarked with, at the top, the icon? to allow you to search within the latter.

    Another way to access Samsung browser bookmarks is to type their title or address in the address bar: Favorite results are marked with the ⭐️ icon next to their name.

    Don't know how to bookmark in Samsung browser? Nothing could be easier: visit the site of your interest, press the ⋮ button located at the top right and select the item Add to favourites give the menu to compare.

    To activate the synchronization of bookmarks between multiple devices, instead, press the ⋮ button located at the top right, select the item Add to favourites from the menu that appears and go up Synchronize with Samsung Cloud.     Your intention is not to find the bookmarks in the browser, but to quickly access the contacts you have added to favorites in the Android address book? Don't worry, this is another equally simple operation. All you need is the Contacts application on your smartphone and thirty seconds of free time, maybe even less!

    After starting the Contacts app, if it does not already show you the list of favorite names at the top of the screen (the favorite names should be marked with the ⭐️ icon next to the first of them), press the ⋮ button at the top to the right and select the item Customize view give the menu to compare.

    In the screen that opens, put the check mark next to the item Customize, check the box Starred in contacts e pulsing sul pulsating Save. This way you should be able to see the list of your favorite contacts on the main screen of the Contacts app, at the top of the list of names in the address book.

    If you want to add a new contact to your favorites and you don't remember how to do it, select it in the address book and tap on the ★ icon located at the top right. Easier than that?
