Block a WhatsApp contact on Android

Block a WhatsApp contact on iPhone
You have a iPhone and would like to know how to block a contact on WhatsApp? The steps you need to perform on your "iPhone by" are not so different from those I described in the chapter dedicated to the version of WhatsApp for Android devices.

If, on the other hand, you want to unblock a previously blocked contact, go to the menu Settings of WhatsApp, select the items Account> Privacy from the screen that opens and presses on the option Blocked. At this point, swipe from right to left on the name to be unlocked, press the red button Unlock that appears sideways and the changes will take effect immediately.
Block a WhatsApp contact on a computer
If you wish block a contact from your computer, know that you can do it using the client of the service or its Web version (if you remember, I told you about both solutions in the guide dedicated to the operation of WhatsApp on PC).
To proceed, then, access WhatsApp through its official client or by connecting to WhatsApp Web, press the button depicting the three dots or the symbol (⌵) at the top and select the item Settings give the menu check if you press.

In case of any second thoughts, you can revoke the block by performing the reverse procedure to the one I just showed you. Then go to the menu Settings> Blocked and click on (X) which is located in correspondence with the name of the contact you had previously blocked and confirm the operation by pressing the button Unlock.
Instead of blocking a contact, you want mute a contact or group which are you a part of? I guarantee you that even performing this operation is not complicated at all. In this case, all you have to do is turn off sounds and notifications from the contact or group you are interested in "silence", so as not to receive notifications from messages from the latter.
To succeed in your intent, click on the symbol (⌵) that appears when the mouse passes over the name of the contact or group in question, then presses on the item silent and choose the time frame in which you want to disable his and notifications from the contact or group in question (eg. 8 hours, 1 weeks o Everlasting).
